- confetti (consider making your own with a hole punch)
- glue
- tissue paper
- your printed message
- packing/mailing supplies (box, cushioning and labels)

You Will Need

Step 1Puncture a hole in the bottom of each egg. Remove egg yolks and whites, rinse eggs in soapy water and allow to dry.
While you wait, make a batch of confetti. I used hole punches and store-bought glitter.

Step 2Once the eggs are dry, fill each with confetti and your save the date message. Glue a small piece of tissue paper over the opening.

Step 3We created tags with simple instructions so that the recipients would know what to do with their mystery egg.

Step 4The egg, instructions and cushioning were placed in packaging.

Step 5What a surprise to find a message inside highlighting the details about the big day!
