Instructions

  1. Small 103704 2f2014 08 02 033446 dsc 0333

Gather some round glass vases on the cheap from your local thrift store... these were $1- 50¢. Spray the insides with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Small 103704 2f2014 08 02 033450 dsc 0338

Mix the concrete according to instructions. I typically add water until the concrete is similar to pudding or creamy peanut butter.

  3. Small 103704 2f2014 08 02 033459 dsc 0344

Pour into your glass orbs and let sit/ dry for at least 24 hours!

  4. Small 103704 2f2014 08 02 033618 dsc 0360

Place your orbs into a paper bag and gently (but firmly) tap the glass until it breaks away from the cured concrte

  5. Small 103704 2f2014 08 02 033638 dsc 0368

These make a lovely and simple garden detail.

  6. Small 103704 2f2014 08 02 033725 dsc 0574

If you have two simple containers you can easily place the smaller on in the middle of the large one and pour concrete around to make a custom planter

I LOVE how these look in your garden. Oh... ps... you could stain/ dye your concrete if you wanted something more colorful.
