My daughter is a big Batman fan so I took a pair of cheap $3 clearance shoes and used mod podge and comic books that costs less than $3 and went to work. This was my second project like this and do not recommend high tops, due to the flexibility of the top part of the shoes the mod podge and paper crack and start to seperate.
