Based on Coke Necklaces by Grace D
A couple of years back I saw someone use a Big-Shot machine to make a coke (dog tag type) pendant, and for all that time I have wanted to do something (what do I means something I wanted to do it!)But could not justify buying a Big-Shot! But just after Christmas I found one cheap on the net!(Not even ebay!)So I treated myself to one...now I just buy the odd die to go in it (I have about 10, but they are quite useful ones!)But I can now cut anything from paper to tin, even my fave plastic bottles!Anyway here's my necklace made from coke cans!I love my Big-Shot so much now!If you use it right it bends the tin slightly round the foam backing!

Hi,
Have you ever updated on the correct way to place the tin to avoid the sharp edges while getting it to also slightly bend around the foam? I

Right I shall try to answer both question here....when I 1st wanted 1 they were well over £100 and you have to buy different dies to which added to the price! I bought mine new from a shop on ebay 4 £59.00 with free p&p, but they have gone on ebay 4 much less...but I had waited so long I just had to have that 1 and I couldn't wait 4 the auctions to finish cost I had wanted one for years!
About the tin being sharp, when you use a Big-Shot cutter, and back them with funky foam it seem to take the sharp edges away. But you have to have the tin on the cutter in the right way so it bend it round slightly...I will put an How2 on asap to show you all! I only have about 10 die cutters for it...but they are really useful 1z!

Wow those are so cool and creative! Do you know where someone could find one of those machines for an expensive price?

I wanted a Big-Shot since I first started doing cards and crafting at collage! But as I said couldn't afford 1! I bought an Impress 1 first of all, suppose to be a bargain at £19.99 with extra dies...but I broke it! Well, what can I expect I wanted to use it for all the wrong reasons!!Or did I? but I have knew I could wait...during that time I did other stuff I wouldn't have dreamed of ever doing (well I knew nothing would ever stop me messing! My first ever recycling was when I melted wax crayons over my dads paraffin heater to make candles! From then on I just carried on!How long ago was that?:oD)so until then I just did other stuff! But now I have my dream toy! All I have to do now is get the kids to buy me stuff for my BIG-SHOT and not bubble bath type stuff.....still I can always put the packaging though!:o)
