Coffee Filter Roses Version

A nice alternative centerpiece
I tried (and failed) to make a paper flower like Paranora's so then I was motivated to try a different route. I found a pattern from Martha Stewart online for paper roses and kind of went from there..

I tried using the template she gave, but after a while it just seemed easier to fold the coffee filters in quarters and then sort of cut the edges off. Maybe in time I will make some more and take step by step photos....
The tight wrapping of the floral tape is important - it helps give it the rose shape.
