With sharp scissors, trim cuff from sweater. If cuff is seamed to sleeve, cut away just below the seam to avoid additional bulk and create a clean edge.
Next, use a pair of pinking shears to cut a variety of circles from contrasting colored felt pieces.
Layer and arrange circles on cuff as desired to create an interesting design and stitch into place with embroidery thread and a needle.
Slip into place over your cup and enjoy!
