They are really easy to make.

These could be cut into bars or chunks to suit your needs.

    Mix the condensed milk & coconut together until well combined.

    Press into a tray & level off.

    Leave to set.

    Cut into chunks or bars.

    Melt the chocolate.

    Dip the coconut bars into the melted chocolate & cover completely.

    Place onto paper & allow to set.

Do these by chance taste like a Mounds bar? My dad loves Mounds, but isn't a huge fan of dark chocolate so I've been trying to find a copycat recipe that uses milk chocolate instead.

Hi,

I don't really know what Mounds are, sorry. They taste a little like a mix between macaroon bars & bounty bars.

Give them a go, they are really tasty.
