Born out of the need to use up some overripe bananas, these gluten free/dairy free freeze bite (energy balls) are one of the most-eaten breakfasts in our house. They are so easy to make that you can knock up a batch in about 10 to 15 minutes. Store them in the freezer and grab a couple on your way out the door when you're running late. Made with oats, nuts, fruit, and unrefined sugars, they are not only healthy and fun but they avoid food-waste too! We LOVE them..... We hope you do too!

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Then add all the other ingredients and mix thoroughly with a wooden/silicone spoon until the mixture has a 'wet' appearance.

  2. Take spoonfuls of the dough and roll into balls using your hands.

  3. Place on a baking tray with a gap between each bite, cover with cling film and freeze. Once frozen, store in an airtight container in the freezer. Eat from frozen.
