Give your shabby old chairs a custom makeover!
Our office chairs at CO+K HQ were beginning to look a bit shabby (it must have been from all the hard work we do here on the site ;) ), so we teamed up with Zazzle to give them a makeover using our own print and their new custom fabric collection.

Tom set to work designing a cute print featuring our scissors and cute logo of all the crafts we do and then I got busy reupholstering.

Note of warning: the original fabric was not fireproof, so we had to treat it to make it safe for upholstery use.

Lay the new fabric over the old cover, fold under the rough edge of the fabric so it matches the size of the original seat.

Making sure the fabric is taught and straight, pin the top and bottom of the fabric to the seat, in between the original stitched lines of the seat.

Sew along the previous stitched lines with your sewing machine.

Now the tricky bit... put your new cover back on your old seats, making sure it's night and taught to sit on.

Good job. I love it when people don't throw away what is still useful, but make it look even better.
