Chasing mice never looked so cute!
Since Halloween is getting VERY close, I thought I'd show you a simple way to make your own clip in kitty ears. These ears can be customized too. Make them in whatever color faux fur you choose, with whatever color ribbon your heart desires.

  • How to make an ear / horn. Clip In Kitty Ears With Bows - Step 1
    Step 1

First you'll need to draw two triangles (as shown above) onto the backside of your double folded, faux fur. Make sure you leave about 1/2 an inch at the bottom of the triangles for gluing. My ears are approximately 3 inches wide at the bottom of the ear.

With right sides together (fur sides together), stitch around the top edge of the ears. You can do this with a sewing machine, or you can hand sew them together. If you're feeling lazy, you could just hot glue the pieces together.

Now flip the ears right side out. Make sure you use a pencil or turner to push the tip of the ear out so it's pointy. Stitch the bottom of the ear shut along the lines shown above.

Use the hot glue gun to add glue to the top side of the snap clips. I did this with the clips in the open position. Glue them to the bottom of the ears. Then trim the excess fur from around the clips.

Make two small ribbon bows and hot glue one to each kitty ear, and you're done!
