Circle Skirt From An Old Sheet

Found a blue satin sheet and decided to give it a try - I think I'm going to take the waistband off and add a lining, because it's a little see-thru. Oh - and if you use silky material that's a total pain to hem - Fray Check is a wonderful thing. I cut the skirt out with pinking shears and then added fray check to the edges. The waistband is actually the top hem of the sheet which I also cut out and purposely let fray because it looked cool. LOVE this project. All the girls are coming over next week to make them.
