You Will Need (4 things)

  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Embroidery Thread
  • 15 mm Closed Rings x3

Steps (10 steps, 45 minutes)

  1. 1

Take two of the rings side by side and thread a 20cm length of your embroidery thread under where the two rings meet in the middle.

  2. 2

    Tie an overhand knot

  3. 3

Wrap the thread around over the knot you just made, 3-5 times. Tie another overhand knot to secure the wraps.

  4. 4

Apply a small amount of glue to the knot and trim off the excess.

  5. 5

Add another ring in the same way, so you have three in a row.

  6. 6

Cut a 40cm length of thread, fold it in half and push the fold up through one of the end rings. Pull the other loose ends of the threads up through the loop and pull tight. This is called a larks heads knot.

  7. 7

Repeat with another 2x 40cm stands of thread, so you have three sets of two.

  8. 8

Secure the rings to your table with some tape or a clip, and braid or plait the three sets of threads together.

  9. 9

When you get near the ends, tie an overhand knot and fray the ends by combing them through your fingers. Trim to neaten.

  10. 10

Repeat steps 6 – 9 on the other side to complete your bracelet!
