Sooo good.
I didn't use a pastry bag, I just did little clumps. They taste delicious, like a doughnut. I covered them with sugar and cinnamon for a sweet and spicy tang.

For the squares of chocolate, do you mean like breaking ten squares of Hersheys bars or rather bigger ones?

Hi,I'm a spanish girl who loves your website.
I just wanted to advise you that in order to be churros they should look more like a lace...or better like a tear. When you make the long sticks you have make the lace...and for more authentic look u can put a star-like head on the icer.
Thanks for this cool site!
Hugs from Madrid

I`m Spanish, and although they look nothing like churros, the process is very similar, and I´m sure they taste the same. Great recipe and great site

Churros is a Spanish word, so you are not dumb at all. Basically they are small sweet pastry sticks that you deep fry and cover in sugar or cinnamon. Very tasty.

Thanks sweetie, I might take you up on that. I have been to Spain a couple of times, Majorca, Gibraltar and the Costa Del Sol, very lovely.

I'm trying to do this thing where I concentrate on cooking from one part of the world for a couple of weeks and then move on, the first was Spain. xx
