You Will Need (7 things)

  • Toy Filling
  • Tapestry Needle
  • 4 mm Crochet Hook
  • 6 mm Black safety Eyes
  • Black DK Yarn
  • Red DK Yarn
  • Green DK Yarn

Steps (3 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

    The wreath

    With green yarn, ch 18.

    Rnd 1: Using back loop only, sc in first ch to form a ring. Sc in each st around. (18)

    Rnd 2: *sc in next 2 st, 2 scs in next st*. Repeat from * around. (24)

    Rnd 3: *sc in next 3 st, 2 scs in next st*. Repeat from * around. (30)

    Rnd 4: *sc in next 4 st, 2 scs in next st*. Repeat from * around. (36)

    Rnd 5: *sc in next 5 st, 2 scs in next st*. Repeat from * around. (42)

    Rnd 6 – Rnd 10: sc in each st around. (72)

    Rnd 11: *sc in next 5 st, sc2tog in next st*. Repeat from * around. (36)

    Rnd 12: *sc in next 4 st, sc2tog in next st*. Repeat from * around. (30)

    Rnd 13: *sc in next 3 st, sc2tog in next st*. Repeat from * around. (24)

    Rnd 14: *sc in next 2 st, sc2tog in next st*. Repeat from * around. (18)

    Slst in next st. Fasten off and leave enough yarn to stitch closed wreath.

    Attach safety eyes in the 3rd round, 4 stitches apart. Sew closed the wreath and fill as you go.

    With 1 ply of black yarn, embroider the mouth.

    The ribbon

    With red yarn.

    Rnd 1: sc 6 in magic ring. (6)

    Rnd 2: 2 sc in every st around. (12)

    Rnd 3 – Rnd 4: sc in each st around. (12)

    Rnd 5: sc2tog around. (6)

    Rnd 6 – Rnd 7: sc in each st around. (6)

    Rnd 8: 2 sc in every st around. (12)

    Rnd 9 – Rnd 10: sc in each st around. (12)

    Rnd 11: sc2tog around. (6)

    Sl st in next st. Fasten off and leave enough yarn to sew closed hole left in ribbon.

    Wrap some red yarn around the middle of the ribbon to create its ends.

    Then with some more red yarn, attach the ribbon to the wreath and also leave some yarn so you can hang the amigurumi.
