  Step 1

  Fabric:
  10 x 10" (25x25cm) white cotton/linen fabric

  Threads – DMC six-stranded cotton:
  347 Very dark salmon
  472 Ultra light avocado green
  743 Medium yellow
  3705 Dark melon
  3768 Dark grey green
  
  Needles:
  Embroidery: size 7 and 9
  Milliner: size 8

  Hoop:
  7 inches (17.5cm)

• Step 2

  Print the design provided in the download and transfer it on to the fabric using your preferred method.

• 

  Step 3

  Embroider the tree according to the embroidery instructions, by following the pattern key:

  Stem 3768 (4)
  Stem = embroidery stitch
  3768 = DMC thread colour
  (4) = number of strands

• Step 4

  You'll find instructions for all the stitches used in this pattern in my ebook, 120 Embroidery Stitches. Otherwise there are loads of stitch tutorials online, just search for the stitch by name.
