Really simple
I like to make personalized cards to give out, and I always start them early. I actually had this idea for last year, but I tried with water color and a different picture and it didn't work well.

To make them I decided how much of the card I wanted to leave white, then I taped it off and painted the rest a wood look, when it was done I glued on a picture I drew for it after it was painted and cut out. Then I used a thin sharpie to outline and a regular sharpie to add the names.

    Step 1

First choose what you want the background of your card, I like a wood texture look for this one.

Next find a image you like or draw one, this is one I drew for the cards. I used to transfer it to some paper to paint and glue on, but for this card I just transfered directly to the card to paint.
