Really simple chocolate mousse that tastes great for something that doesn't take much time

  • Step 1

    Melt the dark chocolate together with the water slowly

    (or replace the water with brandy or liquid coffee whichever you chose, if you do choose coffee, apparently it has to be the liquid kind, sorry if thats no help)

  • Step 2

    Mix the egg yolks with the melted chocolate

    (yes the ingredients does say separated eggs)

  • Step 3

    beat the egg whites until they pretty much form peaks *I suggest using an electric mixer*

    (so basically when you touch a fork on them and pull it away it forms a small peak and doesn't fall back straight away)

  • Step 4

    fold the egg whites into the mixture

    (yes it looks like a fail at the start but if your semi patient and just keep mixing it turns out okay)

  • Step 5

    put into pretty dishes then Put in the fridge and eat later
    *whenever basically but their better when their cooled down*
