Tasty and easy to make. Easy to make. You can use ready made pastry and ready made custard. Take all the praise for a quick, easy and tasty desert.
Make up the pastry, (or buy shop bought pastry). Roll it out to fit the pie tin. Bake it blind. Leave to cool.
Make up the custard. I added hot chocolate drink powder to the milk before adding the eggs. When thick enough, pour into the cooled pastry case.
Allow to cool before placing in the fridge to set up. Slice and eat on it's own or with fresh cream, either way it is delicious.
