Chocolate Banana Pops

A summer cold treat made with frozen bananas

Freeze a ripe banana or cut pieces of a banana. Dip in melted chocolate, roll in nuts or sprinkles and freeze again. Simple and delicious.

You Will Need (4 things)

  • 2 Bananas cut in thirds or halves
  • 6 or less Wooden Sticks
  • 4 oz good quality dark Chocolate
  • 3 tbsp Chocolate Sprinkles or chopped nuts

Steps (3 steps, 240 minutes)

    Insert wooden stick in banana pieces. Cover with wax paper and put in freezer until frozen up to 3 hours.

    Place nuts or sprinkles in dish. Melt chocolate in double boiler over hot water stirring frequently. Pour chocolate in tall glass. Dip each banana piece in chocolate to coat. Immediately roll in sprinkles or nuts. Place on wax-paper covered tray.

    Serve immediately or cover in wax paper and freeze up to 1 week.
