mine arent as rounded as the original 'how to', but this is only my first pair! no pattern either >w<. im making a pair to wear to an Emilie autumn concert..lots of sparkles and hearts!!! also, mine didnt want to stay on a headband, so i hot glued some hair ties to the insides of the ears, they loop around my ears and hold tight pretty good!!
