  • Step 1

    Preparation:
Carefully trace a 7½” circle onto the Templastic with the fine permanent marker and cut out accurately.
Trace the Circle template shape onto the paper side of Fusible webbing 24 times and cut them out slightly larger.

  • Step 2

    Cutting Out:
All rotary cutting instructions include ¼” seam allowance.
    Block size 9½”(10”)

From the Charm Square Packs you will need to cut :

    One - 10” square
    One - 7½” circle

  • Step 3

Fuse the cut circles of Fusible webbing onto the back of the 10” Charm Squares

    This will total: 24 - 10” Squares
    24 - 7½” Circles

  • Step 4

    From the White Fabric cut:

    24 - 10” Squares

seven - 2½” strips across the fabric width (42”) for the Binding

or six - 2½” strips across the fabric width (52”)

  • Step 5

    Construction:

    • Fuse all 24 trimmed circles in the middle on the back of the 10” white background squares.

    • Next the edges of the circles need to be raw edge appliqued in place. It is easier to do this now, before the quilt top is sewn together. Select a thread that blends with the circle fabric and using a straight stitch on your machine stitch around the circle as close to the raw edge as possible.

  • Step 6

    • Each of the raw edges needs at least two rows (some people do three) to keep the circle permanently in place.

  • Step 7

Next use the photo on this quilt pattern as a guide to lay your blocks out, noting that there is a repeating pattern in the quilt, and that the colours are grouped. You may of course choose to have an alternate layout.

  • Step 8

    Sew quilt together in rows.
Baste and quilt as desired and finally bind your quilt.
