You Will Need (15 things)

  • Dough

  • 2 cup Plain Flour
  • 1/4 cup Water Over 90 degrees
  • 80 ml Water Room temp
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Salt
  • Filling

  • 220 g Beef Mince
  • 1 Spring Onion Finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Chinese Five Spice
  • 1 tsp Ginger Grated
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Sesame Oil

Steps (8 steps, 45 minutes)

    Dough...

    Mix flour & salt together.

    Add hot water then cold.

    Bring together to form a dough.

    Allow to cool.

    Gather dough into a smooth ball.

    Wrap in cling film.

    Set aside for 15 mins.

    Filling...

    Brown the beef with the ginger.

    Add the five spice, salt, pepper, oil, soya sauce & spring onions.

    Stir through.

    Set aside to cool.

    Roll the dough into balls.

    Brush the surface with oil.

    Roll each ball out.

    Fill the circle with filling.

    Cover the filling, seal completely, then flatten out a little.

    Shallow fry in a little oil until golden brown.
