Easy to make.

Salt the chicken for 1 hr before breading.

You Will Need (16 things)

  • Tonkatsu Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Ginger Grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic Grated
  • Chicken

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast
  • Salt
  • 1 1/2 cup Plain Flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Water
  • 3 cup Panko
  • 3 Eggs
  • Oil

Steps (7 steps, 30 minutes)

    Sauce...

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Heat in microwave for 1 min.

    Allow to infuse for 30 mins.

    Chicken...

    Place salt on chicken.

    Place in fridge for 1 hr. (not necessary but makes the chicken tender).

    Coat the chicken in flour.

  4. 4

    Dip in egg & water.

  5. 5

    Coat in breadcrumbs.

  6. 6

    Fry in oil until cooked through.

  7. 7

    Serve chicken with sauce.
