Reciprocal gradients are created when you do two gradients on top of each other and mask off designs. They usually are done with the same colours for the gradient, but you can use different ones if you choose.

Description

Reciprocal gradients are created when you do two gradients on top of each other and mask off designs. They usually are done with the same colours for the gradient, but you can use different ones if you choose.

Instructions

  1. Small tns purple 1

    Paint your nails in the base colour and let it dry.

  2. Small two tone gradient1

    Using a makeup sponge, create a two toned gradient with two colours.

  3. Small two tone gradients

    Top coat your gradient and let it dry.

  4. Small two tone gradient

    Tape off your nails in a triangular chevron design using sticky tape and sponge on another gradient in the reverse direction.

  5. Small camouflage art 4

    Carefully remove the sticky tape and finish your design with top coat.
