Based on Chevron Place Mats by GMC Group
I had been asked to help be a book tester and chose this from the book. This was found on page 75 of "Printmaking" by Super+Super.

I bought some cork coasters and followed the instructions in the book. As i bought coasters that were smaller than the ones in the book, when measuring the masking tape i had to 1/2 the measurements of 7cms and then cut each piece of tape into three verticle pieces and then cut these in the middle horizontally so that each piece fits the pattern being made perfectly. I stuck these on the coasters so that there was a zigzag pattern running all the way on the coaster filling it. When it came to painting it i chose 2 colours instead of one like the book suggests as i wanted to lift the colours abit (plus i find one colour a bit boring).

I found the instructions very easy to follow and love the photographed steps in the book as it gave me an idea of what it should look like step by step. I absolutly love this project and would love to do it again but in a bigger scale
