Description

Make pretty Japanese Sakura dishwasher safe mugs using porcelain pens. You just draw on the design with the pens and then bake in the oven.

Instructions

    Collect the materials you need and make sure your mug is clean and dry

    Take the black pen and draw the outline of the branches

    Go over the outline to thicken and add twigs

    Drawn on blossoms with light pink pen.

    Add as many blossoms as you like

    Add some little dots to the blossoms with the dark pink pen

    Bring the branch around to the handle with the black pen

    Continue to the other side of the mug. Then drawn cherry blossom branch and flowers on that side.

    When both sides of the design are complete, allow to air dry for 4 hours.

    Bake for 30 mins in a 160 °C non-preheated oven and allow to cool down in the oven. The mug is now complete and is dishwasher safe up to 50 °C Enjoy a nice cup on tea!
