I was walking with my friend Leesh at school one day, and we found a Chanel knockoff earring on the ground. So I picked it up, took it home, washed it, not sure of what to do with it. Then I remembered seeing a picture of a DIY-Chanel shirt Audrey Kitching had done, so I interpreted it into this necklace!

You Will Need (4 things)

  • 1 Chanel Or Other Designer Brand Earrings
  • 1 Small Pair Of Pliers
  • 1 Necklace Chain
  • 1 Medium Or Small Sized Jump Ring(s) (I Took One Off A Broken Keychain I Had.)' into 'Jump Ring(s)

Steps (4 steps, 600 minutes)

  1. 1

Take your pliers and fiddle around with the end of the earring (where the charm meets the pointy part.) and so you detach the charm from the actual earring.(You can break the earring with the pliers completely if you won't be recycling that too.)

  2. 2

Take your pliers (or your hands, if you're strong and have patience) and open the jump ring enough so it can fit through the little hoop on the top of the charm.

  3. 3

Take your pliers again and close the jump ring completely, so that if you tug on the chain, it won't slip through the jump ring.

  4. 4

Take your chain and slip it through the jump ring, and you're done! Simple, isn't it? Now go flaunt your new piece of designer jewelry! Tell me what you think and post pictures of YOUR versions!
