Can you believe all that this cabinet cost me was $5 and some new knobs? Yeah, me either! I was so stoked to see this lady at the last auction I went to (you know me, I’m the auction junkie) and couldn’t believe that not a single person wanted her. I was fine with it since I got her so cheap, but come on, the potential!
urns out that this used to be a sewing cabinet. When I opened the drawer I found a thread bobbin rack in it, but ripped it out so I could use this as my nightstand. The top also had these odd divits in them, any clue what this part was for?

You Will Need (3 things)
- Chalk Paint
- Clear Wax
- Decorative Knobs
Steps (3 steps, 120 minutes)
-
1
First things first, clean off the cabinet and LIGHTLY sand off any stuck on gunk and debris.
-
2
Tape off any areas you don't want to paint- to be sure you have a solid seal on the tape, run a credit card (or thick cardstock) along the tape edge to smooth it out
-
3
Paint the desired areas with your chalk paint, letting dry between layers.
Then, rub on the clear wax until the desired amount/sheen is on the cabinet.
Let sit for 24 hours to cure- then move her inside to enjoy after adding decorative knobs!
