I had an old pair of cargo pants that were way to big for me, and uncomfortable. so I tried my hand at turning them into a top. I used the big side pockets as hip pockets, the inside straps (for rolling into capris) as shoulder straps, the waistband for a belt, and even kept a basic pocket on the breast. I added a separating zipper in the front, along with two snap buttons at the very top. it was kind of fun to make.
