Delicious, warm, melty brie fused in between caramelized berries and buttery toasts.
Grilled cheese sandwich filled with brie cheese and caramelized berries toasted with brown sugar and butter.
First we’re going to caramelize the berries. Wash the berries and chop the strawberries into small pieces. Turn the stove on medium to low heat and put the butter in the pan. Then as the butter melts, pour in the brown sugar and milk. Dump the berries in the pan and let it caramelize for a few minutes until it’s nicely coated with the sugar butter mixture and the berries are softer. Then turn the stove off and set aside.
Spread some butter on one side of each bread. Slice some brie cheese that is enough to cover the bread.
On the stove turned on medium to low heat, place one slice of bread butter side faced down and place the brie on top. Top with the berries and the second slice of bread with that butter side faced up. Let it toast for 1-2 minutes then flip carefully.
