You Will Need (4 things)

  • Scotch Tape
  • Red Acrylic Paint
  • Small Paintbrush
  • 1 Pink Hair Clip

Steps (5 steps, 20 minutes)

  1. 1

    Gather your supplies!

  2. 2

Tape over the areas where you want the pink to show. In this case I had 4 sections taped. Both ends and the 2 sections in the middle. I know that this pic is hard to see, but if you can see some of the shiny areas on the hair clip, that is where the tape does NOT go.

  3. 3

Paint one coat over the whole front of the hair clip. Don't forget to paint over the outside of the hinge. And don't paint over the back unless you know that your tape is going to peel a ton of the original paint of of the hair pin.

  4. 4

Wait 15 minutes for it to dry. After it is dry, re-paint over and spots of pink you might see. You might want wait a minute if you do.

If you don't feel like waiting 15 minutes, you could dry it with a hair dryer. It'll take less than a minute.

  5. 5

Take all the pieces of tape off and Voila! Now you have an adorable stocking stuffer! :D
