About

I made these cute candy cane charms which would be perfect for earrings, necklaces or bracelets!

I couldn't decided what to make with them so they didn't make it onto my shop, but I think they will make something lovely for me :D

I'm sure you can find a use for them.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • Varnish
  • 2 Fimo (one red and one white)
  • Oven
  • 1 Sewing Pins
  • Needles

Steps (6 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

Get your red and white fimo all warmed up.

Pre-heat your oven to the correct temp.

  2. 2

Create two long rolled out strands of fimo, one red and one white.

Lay them down next to each other and twist from one end to the other until you get your desired stripe width.

  3. 3

Now you will have one very long strand of red and white stripped fimo.

    Cut into sections.

Bend over the end of each section and smooth the bottom end flat and the top end rounded.

  4. 4

Using a pin, make a hole in your candy canes.

I chose to make mine in the centre of the bend in the candy cane having the hole at the top, but you could choose a different place is you wish.

  5. 5

Pop into the oven for about 15 mins (for best results follow the instructions on your fimo or polymer clay packet)

Bring them out when they are done and leave to cool.

  6. 6

    Once cooled, coat in varnish!

Ta-Daa! Lovely candy canes to do with what you wish :D
