This was my first attempt at pleats. I marked 3 inches and 1.5 inches, making 1.5in doubled over pleats every 3 inches. I realized you MUST back up your stiches, its saves you a lot of pain to go ahead and do it, sadly:(. Then I just sewed the shirt to the top of the pleats and stoped the pleats right where my waist begins to turn into my hips. The effect was very slimming (i.e. made me look HOTT) which I enjoyed very much :) --by the by, I'm very sorry for the misspelling of Cambell:0

1 T Shirt Mine was very tight, which is good for this becuse it was only for the top of the dress
