Description

This California girl is a teenage dream. She's so hot, she’ll melt your other cake pops.

From the book Top Of The Cake Pops published by Hardie Grant.

Instructions

  1. Make 6 girl body pops. Set aside to dry.

  2. Prepare the blue candy melts in the plastic bowl according to the instructions on the packet.

Dip Cakey’s head into the blue candy melts to create her hair. You can use a toothpick to spread the candy melts into place. Don’t forget to make her fringe really blunt. Repeat for the remaining pops and set aside to dry.

  4. Once dry, mix a small amount of purple blossom tint with a few drops of rejuvenator spirit and, using a medium-sized brush, paint on the bustier to all six of the pops. Set aside to dry.

Stick some polka dots on to her outfi t with the white sprinkles. To do this, dip a toothpick into the edible glue, and use the tip of the toothpick to pick up each sprinkle and place on the dress.

Mix a small amount of red blossom tint as above and, with a fine brush, add lips to each Cakey. Do the same with the black blossom tint to add her eyes. Set aside to dry completely in a polystyrene block.
