punk pins that make rockin' earrings
I scoop up a lot of punk pins and now since I have so many, I've been coming up with ways to accessorize them in other ways then just pinning them on a t-shirt

  • Step 1

I took out the backs of the pins (you know, the pointy "pin" part) and drilled a hole on the top and bottom of each pin. *if you don't have a drill, I learned that using a small sized screw driver and a hammer work well for jamming a hole in metal, just make sure you put it on a hard surface, it'll make a hole there too

  • Step 2

I attached the hoops and added the earrings

  • Step 3

and added some chain to a hoop and added it to the bottom

  • Step 4

I used some practical school glue and smeared it in the inside where the old pin part lay then added my glitter.

And there I go. It took about 20 minutes to dry on the window sill. :)

Oh this is awesome! Happy I got some vintage punk pins for my birthday this year and have been terrified of wearing them lest they get ruined, but this is a perfect way to wear them and not murder them! Happy
I think I love you >.>
