I made this for a button craft swap. It was relatively easy to make and turned out so cute.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • 20g Wire
  • Button(s) various sizes
  • Pliers
  • Wire Cutters
  • Bottle or Vase

Steps (3 steps, 180 minutes)

  1. 1

Measure and cut a length of wire (the tallest flowers started out as a 24" length of wire). Bend wire in the middle so that the wire resembles a long bobby pin.

  2. 2

Select your buttons and thread the buttons (smallest to largest) onto the wire. Pull buttons towards the bend firmly.

  3. 3

Grip the ends of the wire (opposite the buttons) firmly with pliers. Then, holding the buttons firmly, twist. Keep twisting until the wire stem is stable enough to hold the buttons upright.

For this bouquet, I also made curly wire "leaf" stems from 18 gauge wire. To make the leaf stems, cut varying lengths of wire and bend into curly spirals
