Description

I used red chiffon & black tule as an accent :) I love these! I have several in a handful of colors to go with any outfit I have <3 This is how I do em :)

Instructions

  1. Small img 4348 1306069923

Cut out as many chiffon circles as you like in different sizes from largest to smallest.

  2. Small img 4349 1306070103

Pin your chiffon circles to the tule & cut them out the same size

  3. Small img 4352 1306070214

Light your candle & carefully burn the edges of your tule. The chiffon should curl. Don't put the tule directly into the flame or it will blacken it.

  4. Small img 4351 1306070288

Do the same for your tule, but this burns a bit faster - so be a bit more careful :)

  5. Small img 4353 1306070328

When you're all done - stack them up from largest to smallest & Sew them together just a little bit in the center No sew option: Dab a small bit of glue in between each layer & stick together.

  6. Small img 4354 1306070409

If you like - you can sew or glue a little bead in the center for an accent.

  7. Small img 4356 1306070436

Cut out a circle from your scrap felt & Glue it to the back of your flower to cover up the stitching & help the "petals" stay up.

Take a smaller scrap of felt & place it inside your clip like so. Glue sides to the felt circle.
