Sorry I don't have a lot of images or any close ups! I had a pirate theme wedding reception, and while I didn't have time to DIY most of the outfit, I really wanted a fabulous skirt and shoes. This was so fast and easy to make without a hitch! The layers did start to get tricky to sew over, but its easy enough to hide any 'oops' spots. I only wish I had used something really stiff, like a thick leather, for the waistband. I used a velvety fabric that is thick, but curls up a bit. I ended up wearing this outfit all weekend, it was so comfortable... more so than the wedding dress by far! Also, I had high heeled black boots for the reception...didn't want to sink in the sand!
