this little card / coin holder is hand stitched using brown button and craft thread (held double). it is made of a very soft and supple light tan buckskin. a strip of buckskin helps to hold the holder closed. the flap has an irregular edge due to the fact that the outer edge of the buckskin was used to make this. it has one small hole in the flap as well. i think that it adds character. it is actually a pin hole made when the buckskin was pinned out for stretching and drying. it fits perfectly in a purse or in a pocket. finished measurements when folded down: 3.75 x 3 inches Buckskin is the soft, pliable, porous preserved hide of an animal; in this case, deer.
