Who doesn't love blowing bubbles?!? Using a simple recipe for a bubble mixture and a straw you can decorate your stationery with pretty colors minus the mess. Combine your love of blowing bubbles and writing letters!

You Will Need (6 things)

  • 1 Drinking Straw
  • White Paper (Envelopes, Stationery, Etc.)
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Clear Liquid Soap
  • Food Coloring

Steps (5 steps, 10 minutes)

    Mix the water, soap, sugar, and 10 drops of food coloring into a small bowl with wide mouth. Try mixing the coloring to customize your colors.

    Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

    Put the one end of the straw in the soap mixture, blow at other end until bubbles form.

  3. 3

    Lay the paper lightly on the bubbles so they pop when they touch.

    Repeat until the paper is covered with bubbles.

    Let the paper dry and repeat with a different color.

    After you've achieved the pattern you like, write a letter!
