I started with a dress from H&M, cause i didn't liked it. But you can get a normal skirt too or make one... I capsized the upper side to the inside, because this way i can wear it like a dress and a skirt. The yellow is the elastic in the dress, i didn't remove it because it's very handy.
The dress was too long for me, so i took off 20 cm. Dont forget that you use 2 cm for the elastic.
Than i fold the bottom up. You need 2 a 3 cm. ( I used very thin elastic, zo i just needed 2 cm). The purple is were you have to sew. But let 2 cm open, for the elastic.
Than you need elastic (so long that you can put it on your legs where the bottem of your skirt ends), put a safety-pin on the elastic and than push it through the band. Sew the elastic bands together and sew the last open piece. That's it!
