This pie is a little bit different.
It is a pie with a pecan pie base topped with brownie mix.
It is easy to make and is an enjoyable desert.

You Will Need (12 things)
- 1 Short Crust Pastry
- 15 g melted Butter
- 75 g Golden Syrup
- 50 g Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 150 g Pecans
- 175 g Dark Chocolate
- 85 g Butter
- 50 g Caster Sugar
- 2 Egg
- 50 g Plain Flour
- Icing Sugar
Steps (8 steps, 45 minutes)

Line a pie dish with the short crust pastry & set a side.
Add the melted butter, egg, brown sugar & syrup together in a bowl.
Mix until combined.

Add 100g pecan nuts to the mixture.

Pour onto the uncooked pastry case & level out.
Bake for 15 mins. Gas 4/ 160 degrees.

Beat the eggs & caster sugar together until light & fluffy.
Melt the chocolate in a separate bowl.

Add the melted chocolate & flour to the fluffy egg mixture.

Pour carefully on top of the pecan mix & level out.
Place in oven Gas 4/160 degree for approx 20 - 25 mins.

Remove from oven and add the left over pecans & sprinkle with icing sugar.

Leave to cool completely.
Cut into slices and enjoy.
