lovely homemade body sugar that is perfect to jar and give as a gift!
This is so simple to put together, and looks beautiful once packaged in a glass jar with a ribbon, tag and an antique spoon. A perfect gift for Mother's Day, or any time, really.

Measure one cup of sunflower oil. Since this isn't something I regularly purchase, I bought just the amount I needed in the bulk section of my grocery store. It is important to use subtle oil that doesn't have an overpowering smell, like olive oil does. Add the vanilla extract to the oil. Pour the oil and vanilla into the bowl with the sugars.

This sounds great, would you find it could bring out pimples etc on your skin because its sugar and oil? No idea just curious.

I like olive oil in mine--it tends to compliment the smell of sugar and it's rich in all sorts of vitamins.
