Knitted Wooly Scarf inspired by Breaking Bad's Heisenberg
A quick knit wool scarf inspired by the television show Breaking Bad.

This is an easy to make project that takes only a couple of hours to complete.

The patter is easy to follow and easy to do, only a basic knitting knowledge is needed.

  • How to make a knit scarf / crochet scarf. Breaking Bad Heisenberg Wooly Scarf - Step 1
    Step 1

    Cast on 36 stitches, using size UK4 needles.

    Row 1-8 ribbing... K1,P1.

    Row 9-13 Stockinette stitch (knit row, purl row).

    Start the pattern...

    K15(white), K6(black), K15(white).

    All purl rows are purl stitches using the same colour wool as the knit rows.

    K13(w), K10(b), K13(w).

    K11(w), K14(b), K11(w).

    K11(w), K4(b), K6(w) K4(b) K11(w).

    K11(w), K14(b), K11(w). (X2).

    K16(w), K4(b), K16(w).

    K15(w), K1(b), K4(w) K1(b), K15(w).

    K8(w), K8(b), K4(w), K8(b), K8(w).

    K7(w), K10(b), K2(w) K10(b), K7(w).

    K7(w), K22(b), K7(w). (X2).

    K7(w), K10(b), K2(w), K10(b), K7(w).

    Purl full row using only white wool.

    Knit row & Purl row after using just white wool until the scarf is the desired length. Don't forget the patter at the other end will measure approx 7 inches.

    K7(w), K10(b), K2(w), K10(b), K7(w).

    All purl rows are purl stitches using the same colour wool as the knit rows.

    K7(w), K22(b), K7(w). (X2).

    K7(w), K10(b), K2(w) K10(b), K7(w).

    K8(w), K8(b), K4(w), K8(b), K8(w).

    K15(w), K1(b), K4(w) K1(b), K15(w).

    K16(w), K4(b), K16(w).

    K11(w), K14(b), K11(w). (X2).

    K11(w), K4(b), K6(w) K4(b) K11(w).

    K11(w), K14(b), K11(w).

    K13(w), K10(b), K13(w).

    K1(w), K6(b), K15(w).

    Next 4 rows Stockinette stitch (knit row, purl row).

I've never seen it; but the pattern is awesome! I've only crochet for about 3 years and random knitting, I still am so amazed with the pattern ability. Good job!!
