1
Supplies needed for making this bracelet.
Decorative link
Black leather cord
Artistic wire
5 small jump-rings
1 large jump-ring
Charms & Beads
Lobster clasp
Chain
Two bent-nose pliers
Round-nose pliers
Flush wire cutters -
2
Cut a piece of leather cord about 16” long, then string the lobster clasp onto the cord.
-
3
Center the clasp then tie a knot in the cord to hold the clasp in place.
-
4
Add your jump-rings to your decorative link, I added two small to one side to run my cord through for added strength. The larger jump-ring is part of my clasp (hook the lobster clasp onto).
-
5
Now run your cord through the smaller jump-rings, fold ends over, (adjust the length for your bracelet here). This bracelet measures 7” in total length.
-
6
Cut about a 3” piece of artistic wire for wrapping around the cord to secure.
-
7
Fold the ends over and start wrapping the wire around your leather cord tightly to secure.
-
8
Tuck wire end under using your bent-nose pliers, and trim the excess cord.
-
9
Add your charms.
-
10
Add as many charms, or wire wrapped bead charms as you like.

The chain was an after thought, so if you would like to add some chain just use a piece of chain the same link as your cord, connect it to the Jumprings at each end.
