Things you will need: Any color yarn you like Size J hook 10-6.00mm large yarn needle cool scissors A large hair clip or scrunchie
Chain 45 then chain 2 and half double crochet (hdc) into the third ch from the hook. once you finish that row ch 1 and hdc 7 more rounds all together you should have eight rows when you are done.
Once you get to the last hdc ch 1 as usual an pull a long enough string so you can sew the edges together. Take your yarn needle line up the edges and sew them together. once the edges are together if the is extra string do NOT cut it, you will need it. if not dont worry.
Set aside the large part with the yarn needle. with a new set ch 15 and single chrochet 3 rows.
Once finished wrapp it around the large part covering the seam and making sure that the seam in in the middle. wrap it tight enough for the seamed side to bend. sew it tightly and there you have it. And if you like you can do as I did and sew in a large clip of you can sew in a scrunchie or make a string or it to go around your neck
