Description

I used this large polka dot fabric. It is recommended that you use fabric with a smaller print. I used my seing machine to make this project but you can do it by hand.

Instructions

  1. Small img 0609

    Cut out a 22cm (8.5″) by 17cm (7″) rectange

  2. Small img 0611

Fold in half so that the reverse of the fabric is on the outside. Using a sewing machine sew a zigzag along the longer side. Trim any excess material off.

  3. Small img 0613

Turn the right way round. Fold in half. Sew the sides (7cm or 2.5″ approx) together

  4. Small img 0615

Trim any excess material off. Turn the correct way round

  5. Small img 0617

Pinch into a bow-like shape and thread with a needle through the fabric. Secure with several stitches.

  6. Small img 0619

Stitch through one layer of fabric at a time if this is easier.

Next cut an 8cm (3″) by 4cm (1.5″) rectangle. Using zigzag stitch on your machine sew the longer side together. Fold in half so that the seam is hidden from view. Wrap this fabric strip round the centre of the bow and sew with a couple of stitches to secure

Glue on a hair slide/crocodile hair clip

    Your bow is complete!
