Bottle Cap Earrings

New use for bottle caps!

A friend of mine had a very similar pair of bottle cap earrings but lost one. In normal crafty fashion I thought "Hey, I can make that!" And so I did! I added a little more flair to mine, and turns out people love em! They are so simple to make, so I thought I would share. Sorry that I didn't have any images as I went, but they are pretty easy. If you have any questions, just ask! Alright, getting very annoyed it will not let me add anymore pictures, and not sure why. I will attempt to edit later and add more photos!

Instructions

  1. Use a nail or a craft knife to add a small whole to the top of the bottle cap. I found a craft knife hit a few times with a hammer created a cleaner hole than the nail.

  2. Thread wire through the whole and twist with needle nose pliers.

  3. String beads on to the wire. This is your choice, you do not have to add beads.

  4. Small copper open bead crimp cover 32mm bag of 10l thumbnail 1304744236

Bend the wire and clip to so the end will fit under the crimp bead. I use open crimp beads. They look like pack mans.

  5. Attach the earring hooks and pinch the wire to secure, then clip on the open crimp bead to secure. And you are done!
