  • How to make a recycled light. Book Pages Light Fixture Mabober - Step 1
    Step 1

so basically, you grab an old book, or news paper clippings, or pages from a magazine, whatever you'd like.

  • Step 2

then you cut the pages however you like. then you laminate the pages. i didnt really want to spend all the money for the laminator paper stuff, so i just taped both sides with clear packaging tape. =)
then you hole punch them. you can play around with the placement of the hole.
then you can either use paper clips, or ornament hooks to attach them together

  • Step 3

in the book, he taped the whole thing to a light fixture on his ceiling. but i dont have anything like that. so i had to make some contraption to hang it =)

  • Step 4

then i just taped the tops the to wooden dowels.

    Step 5

then you just set up the lights, then wham! you've got light!

Oh way cool! I saw something like this in Meg's house from Threadbanger's Decor It Yourself, and I wondered how she had made it! Thanks for posting the how to and the link! Happy
