These little free-spirited flowers add a Bohemian touch to just about anything - pillows, dresses, tea towels, and more. The raw edges lend a homespun, Anthropologie look! Once you learn how to make them, you'll become addicted!

Instructions

  1. Small 113671 2f2016 03 12 173112 raw edge flowers

To make a raw-edge fabric flower, cut or tear (I prefer the torn effect) a piece of fabric approximately 2" x 13".

  2. Follow the steps in this video tutorial. It's better to demonstrate than to explain in words. But rest assured, it's so, so easy!

Once your flowers are made, you can stitch them on almost anything. This photo is of a Christmas tree skirt I made from felt, then embellished with these little Boho flowers made from scraps of white fabric and muslin.
